Capital Accord Chorus thrives because of the energy and style of the people who have stepped up to lead. Here are a few of the people that make our ensemble tick:
Sherry has directed Capital Accord since January 2001. A barbershopper since 1988, Sherry became a Certified Director in the Sweet Adelines International director certification program in 2002. She serves on Region 19's Education team as an advisor and as Personal Improvement Coordinator.
Sherry also sings lead with the Harbor City Music Company Show Chorus, and is a long-time quartet singer. Most recently, she sang lead in the 2008 Region 14 Champion quartet Easy Street.
IIn addition to our musical leadership we have an administrative leadership group. Capital Accord has switched to a Team Management style from the traditional Board. Heading up the management team for 2009-2010 is Sandra Lee, an avid barbershopper of since 1995.
Sandra currently sings bass in the chapter quartet Ginger and Lime.
