Carrie started singing barbershop with Capital Accord Chorus in 2011. She conducted a church choir for 20 years, but has just started directing at Capital Accord. "Directing a barbershop chorus feels like starting all over, bit it's fun trying to learning the techniques for an entirely different genre," she says. Carrie sings baritone, has served as Logistics Coordinator, and is currently serving as Team Leader.

Amy Rule headshotAmy Rule Assistant Director

Amy Rule found barbershop in 2000 when she joined the Harbor City Music Company Show Chorus (then known as the Elkridge Chorus) and knew immediately she had found the musical home she'd been looking for. She still sings Bass with HCMC, and came to Capital Accord in 2012 in search of even more performing opportunities. She's been the bass section leader for CAC and is now focusing on directing and education for the chorus. She is also bass in Duality Quartet.
